I have an exciting update to share…

After 40+ wonderful years in the real estate industry, I have officially retired!!!

It’s wild to say that out loud. What feels even more incredible is this: a dream I had back in the 90s is finally getting its moment. What once lived as a passion and a “side hobby” is now stepping fully into the spotlight!

And truly… it feels like the blink of an eye that over 30 years have passed since I first discovered essential oils. My love for them has only grown deeper. I’ve been testing, blending, creating—and I cannot wait to share what I’ve been working on with you.

Now more than ever, I believe we must be intentional about what we put on our bodies, what we breathe in our homes and cars, and how we care for our spiritual, mental, and physical well-being.

But let’s go to the beginning!

In the early 90s, I received a gift that would quietly change my life—a massage at a small (at the time) all-natural boutique spa in Morningside, Atlanta. I had never experienced anything like it. The calming, grounding power of essential oils was unlike anything I had known before.

For years, I had struggled with allergies to synthetic fragrances, so most scented products were off-limits. But this… this was different. And I was instantly hooked.

At the time, I was balancing the fast-paced, often stressful world of real estate. I knew I needed that same sense of calm in my daily life. So, I began learning—reading every book I could find, visiting local shops (long before the days of Google!), taking classes in aromatherapy and experimenting in my own home.

Before I knew it, my kitchen had turned into a little laboratory. I was blending oils for stress relief, better moods, comfort, restful sleep, and soothing tired muscles.

And then something unexpected happened…

I started gifting friends and family with my creations, then those friends and family began gifting them to their friends and family. What started as something personal quickly grew into something meant to be shared.

And just like that, Scentsations by Julie was born.

Today, I am stepping fully into this passion—and I would love for you to be part of it.

My mission is simple: to help you experience the beauty, comfort, and restoration that only nature can bring. Whether you need to unwind after a long day, reset your mood, or simply create a peaceful moment for yourself, my products are designed to give you that.

Every bath salt, scrub, and oil blend is thoughtfully created with care, quality, and purpose.
